John Hynds, Founder & CEO
John Hynds is a technologist with more than 40 years in the field. He started wiring Boeing 747s in Everett and worked on the 747 and 737 lines before moving into Boeing's Advanced Technology Group. He went on to build Xylan's global sales engineering team through its IPO and $2B acquisition by Alcatel, co-author patented network architecture, and lead solution architecture at Polycom for 13 years. Most recently he led Sales Engineering and Customer Success at Device Authority, a cybersecurity company that automates zero trust security for connected devices. A US Marine Veteran who held a Secret security clearance, he also facilitates MIT xPRO's AI program. He holds an MBA from the Acton School of Business and is a Peterson Fellow. In every role he worked to make operations run better and more smoothly. Today he builds practical, secure, governed AI that does the busywork so people can do the work that matters. Based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
